Join us for a series of events this July marking the retirements of Elizabeth Hanson and Marta Stranznicky:
Film Screening: Romeo + Juliet, dir. Baz Luhrmann (1996)
What: Baz Luhrmann’s gleefully inventive Hollywood debut retains the poetic dialog of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy but is otherwise a modernized adaptation, transplanting the tale to Verona Beach where the Montagues and the Capulets, two warring family empires, must contend with the romantic yearnings of the titular star-crossed lovers.
